Signpost Philippines Recognizes Excellent Student Beneficiaries

Hard work deserves to be rewarded. That is exactly what happened when Signpost Philippines, Inc. gave recognition to their sponsored children who just graduated from their respective schools and those who excelled in their studies. The Recognition Program for school year 2013-2014 was held last June 21, 2014 in Brgy. San Juan, Molo, Iloilo City.

A total of fifteen students under the organization’s Child Sponsorship Program graduated from elementary school while eighteen garnered an average of at least 85 in their final grade. Prince David Marl Rojo, a Grade 5 pupil of Baluarte Elementary School, topped the awarded by getting an average grade of 90.45. He has been a consistent honor student since Grade 1. The recipients were given a certificate of recognition by Signpost Philippines, Inc. and gift for their effort.

Those who excelled academically were Rojo, Prince David Marl (90.45), Alamo, Kimlyn Joy (89.32), Cusay, Rodelyn (88.95), Sianson, Joefel Marie (88.1), Sianson, Icy Marie (88.05), Camacho, Mark Joseph (87.4), Cordova, Juren Kate (87.2), Socajel, Marian (87.5), Pontillas, Crystal Jane (86.82), Maloto, Irene (86.8), Estelo, Evan Anthon (86.79), Rivera, Frances Marie (885.95), Gayas, Rachelle Jeanette (85.89), Ancot, sheena (85.76), Rojo, Princess Abegail (85.5),  Cordova, Charmaine (85.2), PeƱaverde, Tresha Mae (85.05) and Baido, Raphcel June (85).

The Child Sponsorship Project of Signpost is a banner program of the organization in which children from qualified families are given a subsidy for their educational expenses, annual medical and dental check-ups. They also undergo training-workshops and other activities that aim to empower them to become more socially responsible citizens of the country.
